Group Placement

The placement of each swimmer in a group is based on various factors to ensure that they receive the appropriate level of training and support. Each group has a minimum required time standard that swimmers must meet to be part of that group. The key factors considered for group placement include:

  1. Commitment: Attendance at practices and participation in swim meets are crucial for group placement.
  2. Meet Results: Performance in meets is taken into account, as it reflects the swimmer’s competitive progress and helps determine training needs.
  3. Training Ability: The swimmer's skills, technique, and overall performance during training sessions.
  4. Group Size: To maintain a manageable number of swimmers per lane, the size of each group is considered.
